These roads are being used more and more by people crossing over from the Broadway and they are dropping their rubbish constantly. This needs to be kept on top of and maybe a waste bin sited where the walkway starts on Albion Road into Methuen Road would entice people to use it rather than throw their rubbish into the raised beds, grass areas and pavement.

This area historically has been quiet with little foot traffic and now, with the increased residential properties it is no longer the case. Please address this issue as it is no fair on local residents and it’s only getting worse.

No Hawthorn Road has not been swept!
For some reason the road sweeper not only ignoring the litter in Hawthorn & Methuen Road he now plots up in the garden of 2 Hawthorn Road, killing time and not sweeping the street, ignoring for the past months the broken glass under the road sign, next to the side access gate of number 2. Why does he leave our streets and state it’s not his responsibility to sweep them?
