The house is shaking every time a bus or a HGV vehicle passes by
Reported via mobile in the Other street defect category anonymously at 22:25, Mon 9 January 2023
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 4107393.
I have reported this early November (3957263) and early December (4010964 ). Both case was closed with “ We have inspected the fault and determined that it does not meet the guidelines for further action at the moment.” Second time I was provided a link for the mentioned guidlines, which is not addressing the issue anywhere within the guidline. The house at 144 Westwood Lane is STILL shaking significantly every time a bus or a HGV passes by. There are already cracks has appeared in the property even after we have repaired them. This has been going on since we moved in which is mid August 2022. I would like to meet with the person who inspects the area that was outlined on the photo. Alternatively I would like some one to contact me directly and explain how damaging their residents property is not Borough of Bexley’s problem.
Many thanks

We still haven’t received any update. The vibrations are very strong as explained on earlier complain. It’s the strongest, when bus 51 approaches from belackfen direction, reduces it’s speed and downshifts gear, without stopping at traffic lights as its green to turn right towards hook lane welling direction. We have found out that all the houses on the lane (until clinton ave.) are feeling these vibrations. The person in charge has to communicate with residents and explain the process moving forward.
