Persistent water leak o/s 81 Station Rd Sidcup

Reported via desktop in the Other street defect category anonymously at 16:04, Thu 24 November 2022

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3990888.

There has been a persistent water leak at 81 Station Rd, Sidcup DA15 7DN, on to the pavement for atleast 6 weeks. I have twice alerted Thames Water and have not received an update as to their action. My concern is that as temperatures drop, that this constantly wet area will become slippery or icy and become dangerous for people when walking. There is a high footfall here as its Station road, but it is also near an NHS surgery and a pharmacy. I realise that the water leak is Thames Water's problem but the leak onto a public pavement, which might make walking perilous with falling temperatures is perhaps something for you as the council to be aware of, thank you
