Tree roots have forced up pavement and now replacement tarmac. Is a serious trip hazard and will soon be impacting on my wall (property). Have SEN child who has tripped/stumbled. Serious hazard!!!

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3922748.
Tarmac is split and raised by tree roots that have spread and forced surface apart. A major hazard for all walking along this part of Hillingdon Road (outside 78). This has been reported previously on my street (approx 1 year ago) and by telephone (message left on answer machine a couple of weeks ago- Civic Office). The problem will only worsen as it is a result of tree roots continuously growing. This needs urgent attention!!! A hazard to the public and potential damage to the property. As Bexley residents we feel frustrated that the issue is not being dealt with and we are having to report this again. Our personal experience thankfully has only bern a stumble but with such uneven surfaces something much worse could possibly happen as a result of this hazard.

This is a serious trip hazard and even though it has been reported two years ago and then again in the past couple of months it still hasn't been fixed. What a terrible process of reporting hazards to just be ignored. When somebody seriously injuries themselves I am sure the contractor and council will actually pay attention!!
