Central reservation barrier
Reported via Android in the Other street furniture category anonymously at 23:06, Sat 24 September 2022
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3846664.
A couple of months ago or so there was an RTA that seriously damaged the central reservation railings. It has never been replaced and is bent, twisted when dangerously broken with sharp metal protruding. In my opinion this damaged section should have been removed and replaced by now as its not fit for purpose. If another vehicle was to plough through it, it would rip that vehicle to pieces, not to mention the occupant/s.

Yes, the council responded fairly quickly and explained that the barrier repair had been delayed due to planned roadworks further along Thames Road. Once finished they then repaired the barrier. They did have plenty of opportunity to repair it before the roadworks started though!! 😕
