Bad Road Surface

Reported via desktop in the Damaged road category anonymously at 15:27, Thursday 22 September 2022

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3841743.

Where the recent junction changes at Yarnton Way and the new Southmere Drive, the two road surfaces are not level with each other.

The contractors have not feathered the new higher road surface to the old Yarnton Way surface, causing a big dip. This is on the exit of the new junction, eastbound.

Why have you allowed the contractors to leave the finished carriageway in the condition. They should have feathered out the two surfaces, not leave a dip.

The other three joins on this junction are level and do not have this excessive dip.

Please investigate and get the contractor to return and correct their mistake. When using public transport this dip is very uncomfortable when crossing this junction.
