Subsidence in road increasing in width and depth.
Reported via mobile in the Damaged road category by Kevin Bullard at 09:17, Fri 9 September 2022
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3813488.
This issue has been reported numerous times and is gradually getting worse. Following the recent rain fall the subsidence has dramatically increased in depth and width and is now presenting a serious risk of damage to motor vehicles using the carriageway.
More worryingly, the depression seems to coincide with a large underground sewer/drainage channel which could possibly be leaking or even worse, collapsing, thus causing the damage to the road surface.
This issues has been reported many times by myself and by other residents and road users. It has gotten worse since the last time I reported it and looking back over the reports, nothing has been done about it.
