Dog faeces, human sanitaryware and general littering

Reported via desktop in the Litter category anonymously at 14:09, Sat 3 September 2022

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3799975.

I used to do regular rounds of Russell Park with my own bags and litter picker, as I know others do, but lately the amounts have become too great to keep on top of.

The final straw is a pair of knickers including sanitaryware in the woodland undergrowth. The amount of uncollected dog poo and lack of bins near the exit to Garrard Close (and this whole footpath with numerous gas canisters) means I think this park is fast becoming a health hazard. Please also fix the door of the Dog Poo bin.

I haven't even visited the pine woodland for weeks as it's even more of a tip but the whole place reeks of neglect.

I believe there are hedgehogs nesting in the area (they were regular visitors to my garden until recently) so this area should be much better protected under basic wildlife protections.
