Loads of rubbish on the roads and pavements is causing an obstruction for me and other people

Reported via desktop in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 10:25, Wednesday 17 August 2022

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3760418.

The owners/tenants at no. 8 Grove Road, DA17 5NX have a lot of rubbish and recycling which has overflowed into the road and pavement. The recycling is also in the wrong bins so the council are not willing to collect this until they fix this, this is causing the bins to overflow. This is a problem as I have an electric scooter which I need to use on the pavement to get to Nuxley Village but cannot at the moment due to the excessive rubbish on the pavement. There is also broken glass from their house in the road which is a problem for me, people with prams, car drivers and children who are playing outside during the summer holidays.

  • Photos of rubbish attached. I believe they are tenants so if the landlord could be spoken to even better.
