Fly Tipping NOT fixed

Reported via desktop in the Pavement category anonymously at 18:14, Tuesday 19 July 2022

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3688643.

Why was this issue reported as Fixed at 17:00 and closed by London Borough of Bexley? NOTHING happened. There is still a festering pile of stinking rubbish which is still being added to daily by the residents of 269 Riverdale Road.

  • Why have the council updated this issue as being fixed when nothing has changed??? The pile of rubbish has got worse and smells worse.

This issue was first reported at the start of July. It is now nearing August and nothing is being done about it?

There are 3 bins which are FULL out on the pavement in front of 269 Riverdale Rd, and tonnes of bags all over the pavement next to the bins. It is not acceptable, especially in this heat.

Rats have been spotted coming from the bags, there are also flies and maggots. The pavement is obstructed, people have to walk into the road to get around it, and it is stopping someone being able to park in that space too.
