Lack of tree and greenery planting.

Reported via desktop in the Park / Open space category anonymously at 17:05, Tuesday 19 July 2022

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3688439.

No 2/4 Coniston Road, DA7 - still waiting for replacement tree on grass verge. Promised a year ago. Corner of Fairford and Barnehurst Avenue - dead rowan can't be replaced we are told - due to root spread. However, what about the whole corner being revamped. A large bush or shrub planted there instead. A red dog poo bin sited. Come on - the country is on fire due to climate change. We need FAR more greenery planted in Bexley Borough. Please. Not less.

  • The corner area continues to have a dead tree surrounded by rubbish. Both areas need regular clearing and bark or similar. The tree outside no 2 needs replacing as it was PROMISED a year ago now.

  • We need a tree outside no 2 Coniston Road - long overdue after promises. We need the corner of Barnehurst Avenue and Fairford Avenue to have one tree weeded and bark surround. And the other dead tree removed and a bush put there.
