There is a 3-4 inch depth of crack spanning across the centre of the road, approx 4 feet on length.

Reported via mobile in the Damaged road category anonymously at 17:10, Tuesday 31 May 2022

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3564737.

This crack has been in the road for a couple of years after a neighbour had 15 skip s delivered over a period of 6 months whilst having an extension. Sadly the crack on the road has got much worse over time and is a hazard now. Oaklands Avenue is a busy road used as a cut through from Willersley Avenue to Days lane so plenty of traffic making the crack worse.

  • This problem has not been fixed and is getting worse with the amount of traffic that uses our road as a cut though. The pavement is also damaged and is a health hazard to the many pedestrians that use it, especially the older generation.

  • The crack on the road is so severe and becoming a dangerous hazard to cyclist and pedestrians. I feel this will also deteriorate with the oncoming winter weather.

  • Problem still fixed and getting worse!! Other roads nearby have been resurfaced which are in better condition than our road. It is a danger to cyclists and pedestrians and maybe an accident will happen or sadly someone will get hurt before the council will do anything???
