Fly tip: 2 metres high, 2.5 metres wide, 3 metres long, with ASBESTOS.

Reported via desktop in the Garage areas category anonymously at 15:47, Friday 13 May 2022

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3524000.

This fly tip has existed for several years, and has been getting progressively and more dangerous with time. Nothing has been done it. A few days ago it was noticed that along with new rubbish having been added there were also corrugated sheets of ASBESTOS, which had to be lifted out of the road and onto the tip for safety. The presence of asbestos elevates this problem to a health and safety and environmental problem for pedestrians as well as vehicle drivers. The tip extends into the road making it difficult and dangerous to safely manoeuvre vehicles in and out of garages. Sharp objects (glass, wood panels with nails protruding) and heavy items that regularly fall from the tip into the road can cause punctures and other damage to vehicles.
