Poor road repair created 3 large mounds on dual carriageway

Reported via desktop in the Damaged road category anonymously at 15:14, Sunday 8 May 2022

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3509919.

The road was closed for 4 days last week (3/5/22-6/5/22) for repairs. It seems that they have made the surface of the road much worse than it was before. The mounds that they have created resemble speed bumps and are in such a way that they will cause significant damage to any vehicle travelling over them, even below the speed limit of 50mph. I can see many accidents happening here if this is not fixed asap. It it incredibly dangerous and stupid, especially considering it is a very busy road, and on the test route for many drivers sitting their driving test. I hope this gets resolved fast.

  • Spraying "RAMP" in yellow on the roadway is of no use. I commute on a motorcycle Monday to Fridays. This caused me to swerve into the other lane almost being hit by an HGV, not to mention the force of the hit disabling the ABS on my motorcycle, all this at less than 40 MPH. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible, TODAY!!!!
