  • You do realise that the "arched surface" is called camber and is built in to every road where possible and has been for hundreds of years as it allows water to drain off to the sides. Pretty common sense......

  • Common sense would be visiting the road before commenting. This road has not been resurfaced in years, each time a pot hole arrises it just get patched up and the next year the same pot holes are back. In regards to the camber, for obvious reason roads have camber to help drainage and flooding. However on this road the camber is to the point that when you park your car, open your door it swings open and get grounded on the pavement, or better yet if you live or park on this road you are aware of the gradient and you are left trying to climb out of your car whilst holding the door. Not to mentions that because of this camber it mean the curbs are quite high. This therefore means it it very awkward to get in an out of vehicles. Seeing as there are elderly people and differently abled people who could possibly park on this road it would make sense that this road should be more levelled as this would make it easier on members of the public when parking and moving from vehicle to pavement.
