Pavement is sticking up and broken pavement slabs around it
Reported via mobile in the Damaged pavement category anonymously at 16:31, Mon 14 March 2022
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3387689.
This is terrible to see that this same issue and location was reported in February and nothing was done about it.
Now today my mother and I were walking over to the oval from burnt oak lane for coffee. When she tripped so badly that she flue through the air and tried to stop herself, falling to do so, she put out her hand but it gave way. She has had previously suffered strokes and her left side has weakened. She then hit her face directly on the pavement causing her to smash her lip nose head and cheek. As my mother is on blood thinning medication she was bleeding so heavily I had to call an ambulance. I am first aid trained and I was lucky enough to be with my mother. A police car drove by and stopped to offer there help and first aid kit. I was able to stop the heavy flow of blood with the dressing and I was told the ambulance would be a while so I drove my mother to hospital. So far we have been in a&e for 5 hours and we ave been told she has fractured her wrist. We are awaiting a head scan now to ensure there is no further damage. I would appreciate a call to address this issue as I live on burnt oak lane and feel let down that this incident has occurred.
