Road blocked by double parking
Reported via desktop in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 10:13, Wed 23 February 2022
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3337081.
Palm Avenue is a busy cut through, and frequently used by the emergency services. At the moment, the double parking today has led to vehicles bigger than an average sized car/small van having to turn around. This could be life threatening if an ambulance/fire truck cannot access the road. Please can this be addressed in the short term, and long term looking at restrictions to ensure this doesn't happen, as it seems that car users when parking are not aware of the gap that is needed.
