Broken Speed Humps - Danger to Tyres

Reported via iOS in the Damaged road category anonymously at 20:45, Sun 13 February 2022

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3308933.

Both of these ‘bolted down’ plastic speed humps are broke and are exposing the straight edges.

Risk to care tyres. These need to be removed as it’s clear to see the last attempt to ‘fix’ this from the council contracts was pretty much a ‘blue Peter’ job. These need to be removed not poorly fixed with a patch up of asphalt. Please!

  • The speed humps are dangerous,so many cars are damaged ,you can see on the photos. It would be urgent to fix these humps soon as possible ,before it causes more car damage.

  • I have noticed this too. There are two sets of speed humps that are extra high and can easily damage the underside of cars and put extra load on suspension. These ones are at the top and then there are another set further down before joining the due carriage way. Unbelievable how they can make humps so high that it is a high risk to care. Stupidity for so called ‘experts’. Council needs to pull their finger out and sort these out quickly.
