  • I see that four months ago someone reported this problem and raised concerned about the possible danger to passing traffic. This needs URGENT attention NOW please. The problem has worsened over the past couple of weeks. The surrounding tarmac to the manhole cover has now eroded or collapsed further and created a deep gaping hole around it which if it gets much worse could cause a serious accident. I live at Moreton Court and the noise from the unstable manhole which is just outside the entrance to Moreton Court in the main road is horrendously loud. We have to endure a double loud bang every time a vehicle drives over it, which is often every few seconds during the day. It also happens often all through the night too.

  • The noise from this loose manhole cover has got much louder recently - it has been "banging" as every car drives over it for around a year but as a local resident on Holmsdale Grove, I can assure you it is getting much worse and needs urgent attention please.

  • You hve put tarmac down. But manhole cover still horrendously loud. We can hear in.our back gardens. Its a nightmare. I dont know how people in Moreton court can live there. Let alone sleep. Its never been repsired properly. Always bodged. Disgusting
