The leaves are still in situ and even more rubbish has accumulated i.e. glass bottles and beer cans which suggest illegal drinking in this spot. A long length of car-trim has also been discarded since the last update. Accumulating leaves need clearing in the rest of Merrilees Road as they are a hazard when walking along the pavement.

It’s now been 2 weeks since first reported. There has been further deterioration, more rubbish is accumulating including discarded filled dog poo bags. This pavement is now hazardous for pedestrians. This area, and other pavement areas close by, need the rubbish clearing asap. It’s a mess, makes the area look dirty and run down, and it will attract more rubbish and fly tipping unless cleared immediately.

Please clear this dog mess asap. Left this morning on the pavement on corner of my drive between Corbylands road and merrilees road. This adds to the unacceptable mess that still has not been cleared, leaving the pavement a hazard for pedestrians. The general area is now looking filthy and run down and clearly such a mess that dog walkers think it is acceptable not to clear their dog mess. Ironically this mess is just beside a pavement ‘pick it up’ notice!

It’s now been over 4 weeks since first reporting. If the council were hoping that the wind would blow everything away they are mistaken. More dog poo and more dog poo bags, more rubbish and fly tipping. This unsightly mess is also an environmental hazard and needs clearing and cleaning asap, it’s all along that stretch of road. It’s totally unacceptable that it has been left this long. The photos do not show how bad it really is. I’m still waiting for my call back to explain the delay and timetable for action for nearly two weeks now. PLEASE RECTIFY NOW
