Royal Oak Road mainly o/s 45

Reported via desktop in the Blocked rainwater gulleys category anonymously at 11:00, Thu 30 December 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3204940.

There is an extremely bad smell coming from the gulley drains in Royal Oak Road mainly outside 45 and the turning point at the end of the road. There is a gulley drain outside 45 and one on the opposite side of the road. This has been going on for over a month. Thames Water and SGN have checked and confirmed that it is nothing to do with them. Thames Water have confirmed that they have cleaned the sewers. Please can this be looked into with a matter of urgency as it could be a health risk.

  • On the day I spoke to Peter Les Thames Water carried out some work to the drains I presume because someone else complained to them. There was also a smell in the Broadway I understand Thames water attended there also. No need to report further to Peter Lea
