Gate always open to very busy road

Reported via Android in the Fences category anonymously at 13:23, Tue 28 December 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3201247.

The picture shows the gate on Bourne Road to Hall place north open space. The picture also shows how the gate is left the majority of the time, wide open. Hall place north is used predominantly by dog walkers and this gate should be like all of the others around this open space, swing gates that go back into the closed position when someone walks through it. This gate is consistently left open and therefore exposes dogs and children to the risk of running into a very busy road and creates a risk for road users. As well as the gate not closing automatically there is also no signage asking people to close the gate which there really should be. Please bring this in line with all the other gates to this space and make it a swing arm gate that will automatically close after use.
