Parking on communal green space
Reported via mobile in the General Enquiry/Complaints category anonymously at 07:33, Wednesday 24 November 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3140531.
The owner of this vehicle Mercedes van Reg. LGZ8091 has started using the green space at the end of Holly Hill Road as their own personal parking area. The vehicle can be found most days parked on the green space next to No1 Holly Hill Road. This has been ongoing now for at least a week. The green space is NOT designed for parking and as such damage is being caused by driving along the green (from the dropped curb at the end of the road) and from the weight of the vehicle. At this time of year the ground is mostly damp and persistent parking will cause irreparable damage in the long term and ruin the area used by children in the summer. On street parking is limited but available along Holly Hill Road and there is AMPLE parking along Erith Road.

The van does not have tax. Perhaps that is why he is parking on grass.
