I got this email fr the council…. The report has been inspected by a member of the Highways Team . The inspection concluded that the fault identified within this report does not require further action as it does not meet guidelines where further action or repairs are required at this stage.
Can you believe this nonsense? I just hope someone doesn’t trip on the uneven surface and seriously injure themselves…. Perhaps I’ll keep their email reply I case it’s useful to prove negligence….

When it rains we have this problem. I wonder if quote “ The inspection concluded that the fault identified within this report does not require further action as it does not meet guidelines where further action or repairs are required at this stage” What are your guidelines I would be interested to read them
