  • I think you'll find that the drains became ineffective because of unusually high volume of water that fell from the sky, It was an Amber weather warning of 30mm plus of rain over a few hours which very few systems in the country could have coped with.

  • The report has been inspected by a member of the Highways Team . The inspection concluded that the fault
    identified within this report does not require further action due to the following:

    Does not meet guidelines where further action or repairs are required at this stage.

    The gully / flooded area will be cleared as part of the Council’s regularly scheduled street cleansing or gully cleansing programme.

    The issues has been resolved as part of a previous report.
