Flooding in Parkhurst Road
Reported via desktop in the Flooding in the road category anonymously at 23:00, Wed 20 October 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3075284.
The extreme camber on Parkhurst Road allows rainwater to collect regularly outside my property. This camber does not allow water to drain to the nearest storm water drains. I refer to my letter to Bexley of the 9.2.2007, letter addressed to Ron Bridgeman. Your response letter of 23.2.2007 stated the matter would be dealt with. The road was relaid but did not correct the levels. I regularly have to sweep the water and residue of road filth that drains to my driveway. The excessive rainfall this evening has overwhelmed our soakaway and flooded our garage. As a matter of urgency I now ask that you visit the site at which time I would like to be present and hear your proposal.
