Reported via desktop in the Damaged road category anonymously at 14:19, Wednesday 13 October 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3060207.
The pot hole has got bigger over the past few months. We get a lot of HGV lorrys delivering to Orpington Timber on Upland Road. Because cars park either side of the road in the parking bays the traffic is forced to use the middle of the road and the hole is now getting worse. Stones/debris is now flicking out of the hole and hitting parked cars either side of the road. The noise cars make when going over the pot hole is getting louder as the hole is getting bigger A cyclist today has slid on the gravel which is now either side of the road. Numerous times there has been a near miss as cars try to avoid the pot hole last min as the pot hole is in on the slight bend of the road.
This case is currently being investigated.
Further updates will follow.
