Foam material, bedding, large metal boxes and other items on pavement in Crossway
Reported via desktop in the Pavement category anonymously at 13:39, Tue 12 October 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3057769.
Foam material, a mattress, what appears to be a large metal box and, possibly, an electrical heating are completely blocking the pavement in crossway next to the entrance to Fleming Way (opposite the junction with Wroxham Rd). And, a few yards away, on the grass verge next to the pavement at this same spot, there is a lot more similar material that has been dumped there as shown in the photos. The verge itself has become a real obstacle to pedestrians walking along the pavement there as it is well encroaching on to the pavement and the thorny branches have, practically rendered the pavement unusable. These need to be trimmed well back as soon as possible.

This pile of waste on the grass verge and the cabinet obstructing the way, leaning against lampstand number 20 on the pavement in Crossway, are still there. The pile of waste has since been added to and there is more of it now than when first reported.
