CONSTANTLY dumped rubbish in this area
Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning and litter category anonymously at 09:17, Fri 8 October 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3049381.
I am sick and tired of having to report rubbish dumped in this area every few weeks or so when it SHOULD be someone's job to clear it each time it appear - there is once again a big pile of bottles cans which could attract vermin, in the same place it always is - this has encourage other selfish idiots to dump rubbish down the footpath towards Abbey Road which has been ripped open and scattered around by foxes/birds - this is a regularly recurring event, as soon as one pile is cleared (only AFTER I have reported it on here) another pile appears - I have watched numerous road cleaners, refuse trucks and low level Bexley Council vans drive past this rubbish and just ignore it!!! Why can't someone think outside the box and just pick it up - these are the vans that go into the grassed area at the bottom of Knee Hill through the fire gate to empty the litter bins in there and they just ignore it - this is rubbish that emanates from the users of that green area who think its acceptable to dump their crap on a footpath that is used by the residents of Manorside Close - to be honest the whole of the Bexley area is a giant rubbish dump at present following the recent strike action, but I know new contractors started from 4th October so they best get their backsides into gear and clean up this cesspit as I am about to stop paying my council tax until this is resolved - I am fed up of wading through the rubbish of these dirty scumbags when I responsibly dispose of my waste materials - its not fair or right! Oh and the area definitely comes under Bexley Council, the boundary line goes down the middle of Wilton Road plus everyone in this area (including me) pays their council tax to Bexley so please don't contact me to say it's not down to you - it definitely is - please sort it out once and for all by making it a regular pick up spot for your operatives.

So the same day I reported this, the rubbish was removed - as the update above says 'in progress', I assume it was actioned via someone else's report, as a 'same day service' is unheard of - however the 3 photo's above show what was left behind - was it really too much for every piece of crap to be picked up - why leave some items behind which were all part of the original litter report - Unbelievable! Is further training required perhaps?
