Over weight vehicle on bridge
Reported via mobile in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 18:59, Thu 23 September 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3021332.
There is a parked car transporter truck parked on the bridge at Oaklands Avenue , I always thought there was a weight limit to the bridge but there isn’t any signs for it - the transporter is taxed and MOT , I wouldn’t want the bridge to collapse over the shuttle river

An unladen transporter weighs less than half the delivery lorries that go up and down there daily, heck it probably weighs less than the Range Rovers and 4x4's that hammer through there. If it was a weight limited bridge it would be restricted or signed like every other weight sensitive bridge is.....

I’ve just bought 2 large commercial vehicles. I will be parking them all along the road seeing as nothings being done about this one! Oaklands is being used as a dumping ground for derelict cars that should be on their own drives or a garage
This vehicle causes a nuisance down the road and blocks peoples driveways and cars coming through if another car is parked opposite it Nice to see its being looked in to
