Gulley/drain completely blocked

I live at 243 bedonwell Road belvedere Kent Da17 5pg. As you come off the roundabout on bedonwell Road and just before you enter my driveway there is a drain/gulley on the pavement which floods when it rains and is completely blocked and has been for along time. I rang to report this issue as it affects my property directly as my driveway starts just after the drain/gulley buy nothing was ever done to fix or resolve the issue. It floods so severely in heavy rain or when it rains generally and causes issues for me and my family trying to enter our house without getting our footwear and clothes completely soaked. I would appreciate it if someone could please come and unblock the drain it would be very much appreciated.

  • I'm deeply concerned and annoyed as this problem has never been fixed. This drain has been blocked for years and I did ring a number of years ago. I gave up reporting this as no one from bexley Council came and fixed it. I pay my council tax bill on time every time. If I didn't pay my council tax I would be prosecuted so I am upset that the drain that belongs to the council has not been cleared and fixed. This affects me directly as I have to walk past this drain and like today there is heavy rainfall so walking out onto the road to exit my driveway I have to go through a flooded blocked drain. Again upsetting as the council have not been out or fixed this issue

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • The roundabout at Streamway/Nuxley Road/Bedonwell Road was flooded earlier tonight about 9.30pm. There is a hole now on the road that leads up to Nuxley Village with lumps of dislodged tarmac outside my house. It needs fixing urgently as it's a busy junction.

  • No one has fixed the drain yet. Will anyone be coming to fix this drain ???? I reported this months ago!!!
