My house is shaking
Reported via desktop in the Manhole covers category anonymously at 12:31, Wednesday 15 September 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 3002817.
I live at 156 Westwood lane and have reported my house shaking every time a bus goes past. This is still happening although its not as bad since the manhole was repaired. The fact that my house is still shaking is very concerning and I’m very worried about the Structural integrity of my house. Bexley council need to look into this as a matter of urgency. I reported this issue back in February, and other residence reported the issue, and my house still shakes. Do i need to get a structural engineer to visit the area and then send the invoice to Bexley council or can you do this yourself. Going by the length of time this has been going on you do not care or consider this important. I’m going to write to my local MP on this issue as Bexley won’t do anything until someone’s house collapses or has a major structural failing? You have a responsibility for the roads and if they are affecting property you should be resolving them
