This is not a repair but a bodgeup
Reported via desktop in the Damaged pavement category anonymously at 21:50, Mon 13 September 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2999102.
The slab still moves and raises the tarmac and now there are other holes appearing around it, a right bodge job like a few other tarmac'd repair bodge jobs down the street, in-fact the pathing all down the street are in a terrible state Broken slabs uneven and moving, holes appearing. When are these going to sorted properly we all pay enough to the council.

Looks like a temporary holding repair to me, I would expect a permanent repair to follow. Maybe not walking around the streets in slippers would make the paths seem better!

And what would you know, there has been other so called temporary holding down in the street at least three to four months ago and still not repaired …here’s a thing why not do the job properly to begin with instead of doing it twice or is this greed so as to get paid twice. But this isn’t holding down it still moves. What is this stupid comment about slippers just goes to show you couldn’t give a sh***.

For whoever made the comment about it looking like a temporary job how long will it be before a proper job is done as the other ones down the street have been there for months…just throwing it out there wouldn’t it have been cheaper to have done a proper nod on repairs to begin with seems like an excuse to get more money. And what are you talking about walking the streets in slippers…what planet you on.

Haha I know a lot more than you do! It is the most cost effective way to make the footway safer from trips in the immediacy. Also slippers (the ones you photographed in your picture) are thin soled so you will feel every crack and minor imperfection in the slabs, Slabs that have been down over 50 years are never going to billiard table smooth. Maybe you'd prefer a soulless tarmac throughout and no pink/red slabs at all?

Prat I only wore those slippers at the time to go to the waste bins and decided to take the video, I don’t walk around the street in them for gods sake. And you have no idea what I know and that bodge job hasn’t stopped the trip hazard and you sitting in the office making all sorts of excuses don’t help, I have lived here for 34 years and the street pavements were good and as you say the amount of time they’ve been down perhaps they should replaced. As over time the ground does move and causes these issue and if you think you know more than me perhaps you should know that. Trouble is the immediacy you say turns into Permanent. Yeah maybe the whole lot should be tarmac as it’ll look better and safer than these slabs now and then you’ll have even less to do.

A repair like that costs under £25, a large scale repair costs several hundred pounds to do. If it makes it safer, (which you claim it hasn't) then i am happy with the Council saving a few hundred pounds where they can, might mean the bins get emptied on time!

The bins have not been collected this week at all so what your saying is again crap and more excuses. And the amount of money the council gets from all of us to maintain the streets is not being used so what excuse have you for that.

What all £5 a year that goes from your council tax to maintenance? I'd say you've had your value and more!! They've not done any repairs outside my house for years maybe I should ask them for my £5 back hahahaha

So much for a so called interim fix mentioned by the idiot who answered this complaint didn’t last long did it, it’s now worse this absolutely ridiculous can you get this sorted out properly instead of wasting time and money on theses stupid “interim fixes”as It doesn’t work this is the same all down the street. Can someone else deal with is.

It's getting to nearly a year and this still has not been fixed properly, the so called "interim fix" has broken loose and is no longer "fixed" also it is getting worse, this is going to result in someone getting hurt all because you won't do the job properly.
