  • Yes it’s on the lane to pen hill park

  • When I mean public road is the lane maintained by Bexley council IE tarmacked cleaned and grass cut ect , or is it a private alleyway servicing the rear of the properties

  • The lane is not tarmacked as you can see in the photo. It is not a private alleyway because there is no gate, fence, etc. stopping members of the public gaining access. The lane is a public entrance to a public park (Penhill Park).

There is no issue with cars being parked in the lane because this happens all the time, however there are two main issues with this car; 1) is has no number plate and does not look roadworthy suggesting it has been dumped / abandoned, 2) it is blocking access to our gate which is used regularly

  • It is not owned or maintained by the council therefore it is private land regardless of being gated or not. The cars will both belong to the same person i'd imagine, simply speaking with your neighbours would establish who. Probably not too difficult to work out which neighbour either.
