  • Grass still needs cutting and is dying shoes and dogs paws orange

  • This grass has not been cut for weeks. We've already had the 6 weeks children's holiday with it being knee high. Children treading in toilets invisible to the eye due to the length of grass. Now 1 week into school term still no action.

  • I received a very weak email on the 21st.

“I have checked our Grounds Contractors mowing returns and can confirm the main field was cut on 5th August 2021, this equates to 22 days up till today, the Contractor has 28 -35 days between cuts.

The outer edge of the field cutting is behind on the grass cutting schedule and Correction notices have been raised against the Grounds Contractor to complete next week.”

I replied straight away and have been ignored since. It’s just a ticking exercise to say they respond to us. When it was cut on the 5th it was not cut short, so was already too long a week later. The council need to hire a better contractor

  • The grass is over grown. It stains shoes and dog paws orange with whatever is growing on it. Due to the length it is hard to see if you are treading in dog poo etc. Please cut shorter and more often. The last time it was cut it was after a very long period and it wasn't cut very short so it was very long again very quickly afterwards.

  • Was cut yesterday, they have done a good job in all fairness. But it should have been done weeks ago.
