Tree roots causing trip hazard on pavement
Reported via mobile in the Obstructions on pavements and roads category anonymously at 15:50, Fri 20 August 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2948459.
My elderly mother tripped on the uneven pavement caused by tree roots pushing up the tarmac to form ridges. Apparently area was re-covered several years ago but roots were not removed. Mum was shaken but thankfully not seriously injured. Area is along from 2 Somerset Avenue.
