Guide Dog user accessing Martens Grove Park
Reported via desktop in the General Enquiry/Complaints category anonymously at 16:25, Fri 20 August 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2948458.
I am blind and walk my guide dog in the park every day. There are 76 steps between the upper and lower levels of the park, reaching the new skate/bike park. I find these challenging as they have steps and landings at uneven intervals. I would like to request that the steps have painted edges (white or yellow) for people like me who use the park with little useful sight. Painting the steps would give me just enough information about where each step ends and help me to continue to use the park safely. Many thanks.

My request has NOT been done nor have I received any updates from FixMyStreet. I also emailed my local councillor over a week ago but I am still awaiting a reply. The picture shows the steps from the top.
