Trees and shrubs in the cemetary area are are encroaching on the fence of my property and damaging it.

Reported via desktop in the Private property category anonymously at 13:00, Wednesday 11 August 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2928784.

Due to the thickness of the trees and shrubs I cannot fix the problem myself. If the trees and shrubs are not cut back my back garden fence will be damaged.

  • The reason I made my orginal report was not so I could record my fence being damaged (and then make a claim). The reason for making the report was becaues the trees and shrubs encroaching on my fence are on Council land (the War Memorial Park). Therefore, I expected the Council to cut back the trees and shrubs so as to avoid any future damage to my fence. Am I deluded that the Council will take any action and just wait for me to make a claim?
