Steet drain blocked

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2925143.

Road drain at junction of Bridgen rd and Elmwood drive is blocked and needs clearing .This is a very important drain as it takes large volume of water from hills either side of it which otherwise would flood into Elmwood Drive.

  • 4 months has passed since reporting on two occasions, drain is still blocked from various road contractors works and is covered with hardened tarmac !!.Yet again water collects after rain at junction

  • Six months have now passed since first reporting problem and drain has not been cleared of hardened tarmac blocking drain ,I can only assume fix my street is a completely useless site on which to report problems.

  • The report has been inspected by a member of the Highways Team . The inspection concluded that the fault
    identified within this report does not require further action due to the following:

    Does not meet guidelines where further action or repairs are required at this stage.

    The gully / flooded area will be cleared as part of the Council’s regularly scheduled street cleansing or gully cleansing programme.

    The issues has been resolved as part of a previous report.
