Dumping of Asda trolleys
Reported via mobile in the Pavement category anonymously at 21:28, Saturday 7 August 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2921206.
Shopping Trolleys from local Asda are regularly dumped and left in the road and pavement on Gilbert Road adjacent to the church. Other items are also dumped with the trolleys attracting mice and foxes. The issue is persistent because Asda does not charge the usual £1 or token to use a trolley therefore are taken by customers and dumped on our streets.
This case has been referred to the Council’s contractor and will be completed within the Council’s contractual service level arrangements.
We will update the case once it has been completed.
Thank you for reporting this matter.
