I’ve spoken with Thames Water twice now over the past few months. Their update was that they were waiting on permissions from Bexley Council to set up temporary traffic lights in Station road, Sidcup in order to fix the split water pipe.

I have walked past this flood for at least three weeks now. Its extremely slippery with algae covering the wet area which covers the whole pavements width and runs down hill the length of the next building. The are is now also littered with leaf debris and rubbish build up caught up the flooding.
The leak needs fixing, the pavement needs a jet wash and the road drain unblocking all before some one really has an nasty accident.
