Overgrown trees and debris on cycle path.

Reported via desktop in the Street category by Laurence Glander at 21:46, Saturday 17 July 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2871946.

Due to the inconvenience of the Thames Path being selfishly closed the diversion takes cyclists onto Crabtree Manorway North, Anderson Way and along side Picardy Manorway. All parts of this diversion suffer with trees hanging low or growing over the cycle/footpath. The path is also covered in glass and other debris. If it was felt necessary to divert cyclists and walkers along this new route it would've been courteous to make sure it is in a safe state to be used. If the council can't afford to carry out suitable pruning and cleaning perhaps they should get the people responsible for the closed path to do it.
