The grass verges had become seriously overgrown and now the grass has been cut and is blocking the gullies

Reported via mobile in the Blocked rainwater gulleys category anonymously at 18:28, Wednesday 7 July 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2848265.

The grass verges in Park Crescent Road and all the surrounding roads had become seriously overgrown. These have now been cut using a strimmer but the gullies are now blocked with vast quantities of grass clippings and rubbish which has accumulated due to the lack of maintenence. When it rains the water does not drain down the gully taking the least route of resistance, either the path or the road.
