Slide removed from play area?
Reported via mobile in the General Enquiry/Complaints category anonymously at 14:47, Friday 25 June 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2818208.
Do you have an estimation on when the slide will be returned and repaired at the play area? The steps as left aren't roped off especially well and our child is devastated that the slide has gone.
Thank you for your report.
If you have provided an email, you should receive an update within five working days and continue with any further updates.

Today we visited the park and my 2 year old was excited to go on the slide and headed in front of us, she was near the top and we shouted for her to stay where she was. This should not be left open for children to be able to climb, this is a accident waiting to happen and we are disgusted this hasn’t been addressed as a matter of importance and urgently due to the accidents that could happen. Please advise when this will be sorted

Central pole of roundabout is filled with something that smells like sick or dogs poo. My granddaughter put her hand in it and we had to go straight home!! I filled it with baby wipes and alerted other parents in the park.
Zip wire covering has also broken again.

Any update on when the slide will be returned please? It was unexpectedly removed in June leaving the unsafe steps as reported last month, and whilst the unsafe steps have now been taken away, the point of this post was partly to get the slide back, not have it removed all together! At present, it's left the park without a much needed and beloved bit of equipment.

The slide is missing from Russell Park, and a few items of equipment are in need of some maintenance. This is a well used park by many locals, please can the council maintain this so that us local residents can continue to enjoy the facilities and enjoy the use of our local green spaces.
