Street cleaning request - Royal oak road and Albion road
Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning and litter category anonymously at 15:03, Thu 24 June 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2815866.
Royal oak road and the grass verge opposite the premier inn in Albion road needs cleaning asap as people are leaving their litter and this is becoming an eyesore. Residents are trying to clear this themselves as much as possible but also need a road sweeper with a broom (parked cars) to clear this area asap both in Royal oak road and Albion road by the grass verge as there are lots of bottles etc on the grass verge. This has been reported to the team previously (over a month ago) and sent to contactors but nothing has been cleared. Advised that no one has swept/cleaned this area for at least a few months now and the litter is building up. Please can these areas be cleared asap.

I think it’s unacceptable that I’ve had to make numerous calls regarding this issue and still 5months later it hasn’t been resolved, dirty face masks, empty bottles, empty beer cans, broken china mug, plastic carrier bags it really is disgusting

The grass verge was cleaned only because I pushed on it and contacted Teresa O’Neill one of our top councillors who passed it on to Sue Gower. Royal Oak Road still remains unswept really disgusting very disappointed in Bexley Council and their contractors for not caring.
