The grass needs cutting in Waring Park, Sidcup.

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2792006.
The grass is so high, there’s now countless grass seed heads. These are dangerous for dogs as the grass seeds can get stuck in their ears, causing serious infections (it happened twice last year to our dog and was nearly fatal). As a result, I can’t let my dog off the lead anymore. Please can the grass be properly cut ASAP.

I totally agree with previous report - there has been no change. The park is in a disgraceful state. The grass, that has the seeds that go in dogs ears and feet, is 3 - 4 ft solid at Lansdown entrance. I can't let my dog anywhere near here! You are ruining the park

The grass has still not been cut. We took our new puppy to the park for the first time last night and we’re so looking forward to introducing her to the park on our doorstep, but we are very concerned about the length of the grass, with all the seed heads and potential for ticks, and don’t think it’s safe for her to be there and enjoy the space. It’s also very problematic for us as hayfever sufferers as the grass is so long and in desperate need of cutting. My son used to love using the cricket strip for bowling practice too, and can’t use this either as it now a meadow. Waring park was always so well kept, it’s really disappointing that the council aren’t cutting the grass. As a family we all want to be able to use the park for recreation, sport and picnics, and this is what our nearest local park should provide for us, and what we pay our council tax for. Please fix this problem as soon as possible, thank you.
