Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. Report ref: 2745487.
I was in the park over the weekend and must have counted 20 rats over the footpaths and along the riverbank. I have also recently (in the last week), observed a heron catching, killing and eating a rat. The park is overrun and I am very concerned from an environmental health point of view. One of my children is due to take part in an activity on the boating lake, but I do not feel with the current infestation that this will be safe. Can you please let me know what is being done about the issue as I note there are a number of similar complaint on this website. Thank you.
