Whole of Hurlingham road surface is in bad state of repair - loose stones and small pot holes
Reported via mobile in the Damaged road category anonymously at 18:04, Tuesday 11 May 2021
Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later
I originally reported this issue back in 2019 and our entire road signed a petition to have the road resurfaced which went to the local councillor. The road is just getting worse with loose stones all throughout which could be flung up by moving cars and injure walkers and/or other cars. The surface is uneven with small potholes in numerous places. You can feel how bad the road is in your car when driving. I also heard a bike rider recently passing by complain how bad the road is to ride on. The whole road needs to be resurfaced as it looks like it hasn’t been done in years with the potential to get worse and cause further issues. Driving around the area this road is one of the worst roads I’ve seen, and other roads in Bexley have recently been resurfaced when they were in nowhere near as bad a state as Hurlingham Road. Can provide further photos if required.
