Barrier on side of stream above flooding drainage near bridge opposite bexley grammar school playing fields needs removing or needs to have safety protection around or made more visible, this is a massive safety issue, tonight I was walking my dog with my 2 children when my sons ball rolled down towards the stream I went down to retrieve the ball from the stream and when coming back up smashed my head on the suppose to be safety metal barrier over hanging the drainage and knocked my self clean out falling back to the edge of the stream a passerby and my wife managed to get me up and to safety with a big split on top of my head gushing with blood, to say the least now I’m ok but very sore with a nice lump and open wound on my head, this is a major safety issue 1. Because it has no protection round it 2. It’s not very visible at all 3. Things could of been totally different if I was alone. Please can this be looked at ASAP this is not the 1st time this has happened to someone on this exact same barrier either when talking to members of the public who came to my aid. Please get this either removed or made safer as this is a massive safety concern and needs acting on ASAP, my contact number is 07841159397 or email bradysteven77@gmail.com please contact me to update me with what action is being taken on this AS MENTIONED ITS NOT THE 1st TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED AND WILL NOT BE THE LAST IF NO ACTION IS TAKEN
