Road crossing during the school run

Reported via desktop in the Other street defect category anonymously at 19:43, Thursday 22 April 2021

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later

Dear Bexley Council, Given that there is no lollipop lady between Danson Primary School and Bexley Grammar, is it possible for the Council to install a pedestrian crossing for the school run, where the lollipop lady used to be? This can be a Zebra crossing, traffic lights etc.

The road is dangerously busy during the school run and it impacts on both Danson primary and Bexley grammar. I have watched while queuing up on the school run some cars driving dangerously fast and others refusing to stop even when there's children/parents waiting to cross. This is a serious accident waiting to happen. It will also help with the flow of movement as we try to give each other way for Covid social distancing.

I look forward to hearing from you

Thank You.
